Christmas Eve 2022

The day started early, 5:36am. However, I did not get up until 7am. It has been a difficult last few days with both my wife and son catching the common cold.

This is what I did:

Ran 4 km before my son interrupted me
Went shopping… Bought mince lamb, chicken breast, wings and lots of other stuff. Gheez food is getting expensive.
Vacuumed the entire house (this took a long time)
clean my main tv screen (fingerprint galore)
The SONOS sub was infested with fingerprints and took forever to clean
finally turned on the PS5 and updated to latest firmware update
Played Streets of Rage 4 (less than an hour before wife interrupted me)

I skipped breakfast.

Lunch at 12:15pm: fried rice with chicken sweet corn soup. Not very festive, but did the job.

Finally worked on the MereCivilian website, it took much longer than anticipated. Nothing major:

updated to latest Ghost software
Made minor changes to the Dawn theme. I wasn't happy with the latest version but if I want to take advantage of the new Ghost features such as search, comments etc, there is no turning back.

Played with my son before it was his nap time. Had a quick shower and settled in to watch Knives Out Glass Onion…

Wrote this within the first 15 minutes of the Knives Out movie… It seems like a good movie, so I will focus on that and on that note…. MereCivilian OUT

I also have no idea what I am doing this evening... probably settle with a G&T
