2025: Movies and TV
On this page

This post will be updated throughout the year. It isn't a collection of everything I watched but rather media that is notable.

TV: Severance: Season 2

TV: The Day of the Jackal

Being based in Europe it was pleasing to see all the beautiful locations as backdrop top a gripping and thrilling ride that this Peacock TV Show embarks on.

Movie: Pushpa 2: The Rule

Pretty impressed with the quality of entire production coming out of India.

Hardly surprising it was the highest grossing movie in India in 2024

It isnt easy to hold one's attention for almost 4 hours and this movie managed to do just that.

AWESOME

Movie: Ratatouille

Shame on me for not having watched this fantastic movie before. In a way, it worked out well. Watched this movie with my son. His attention lasted3/4 of the movie, but I was hooked the entire time.

Beautiful experience with my son 😍

Imagine getting Disney to make a movie where the star is a rat who is the best chef in France. Such a unique concept and so well executed. Never ever have a found a rat so adorable.

Movie: Aag

TV: Silo Season 1 and 2

24 April 2025

Kicking myself for not watching it sooner but than again, it would have been painful waiting each week for a new episode.

Zootopia

17 May 2025:

Watched with my son yesterday afternoon. Just the two of us sharing popcorn and enjoying the movie 🍿😍

Movie: Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning

Yesterday I wondered that I have never seen an awful movie in IMAX. It is almost AUD40 per person, which ensures that I only go for major blockbusters. Admittedly, the last movie I saw in the cinemas was at least 3 years ago.

TV: Last of Us Season 2

27 May 2025

I have missed feelings about Season 2 of Last of Us. However, there is no doubt that this was one of the most beautiful tv shows I have seen this year, which is particularly impressive considering its rather terrible backdrop of zombies etc.

Hold on... there’s more
